Bright & Beautiful franchisee busier than ever

A Bright & Beautiful franchisee in Dunfermline in Fife, Scotland, has spoken about how her business has risen in popularity during the Covid-19 pandemic.

At a time when people have placed a bigger focus on hygiene and sanitising their homes and workplaces, cleaning franchises have been in higher demand than ever. Bright & Beautiful is no exception; Gill Schofield established its Dunfermline-based branch five years ago, and it's grown year by year, but seen an unprecedented number of enquiries in 2020.

Now, the franchise unit is completing more than 325 home cleaning jobs every single month across the East of Scotland. Gill said,

"We have seen a surge in demand for our professional cleaning services during the pandemic, and we attribute this to our strict hygiene protocols and trusted teams, all of whom are fully employed and trained."

The franchisee offered her thoughts on the various reasons why more people are approaching cleaning firms this year:

"As more people work from home or take advantage of the stamp duty holiday, the need for a reliable and managed cleaning service has never been so important. We have seen our sales boosted not only with our regular clients but with pre-and post-sales cleans, end-of-tenancy, commercial and Airbnb clients."

Across Bright & Beautiful's franchise network, franchisees deliver cleaning services in Limekilns, Charlestown, Inverkeithing and North Queensferry. There are also branches in Dalgety Bay, Duloch and Aberdour. The business has a total of over 65 separate franchisees providing 800 jobs in the cleaning sector.
