Boots Opticians launches new confidence campaign

Boots Opticians has unveiled a new campaign that aims to make people look and feel good in their glasses.
Glasses can make you look many things: intelligent, professional, serious and even attractive. But many people who have vision problems struggle to feel good about their appearance when wearing their glasses, leaving them to battle with their confidence and poor vision needlessly. So, to combat this, Boots Opticians has launched a brand-new campaign that aims to boost the confidence of glasses wearers across the country.
The optical franchise wants to make sure that those who need to wear glasses feel confident in their own skin. It was launched to address the reluctance that people might feel around wearing glasses and highlight how its assistants can help people find the perfect pair for them. The advertising campaign was launched in late January and has so far had a positive reception on social media. And with Boots Opticians’ wide range of frames, from designer brands and the latest trends right down to simple, fuss-free options for people who want to snap up a cut-price but still flattering pair of glasses, customers are sure to find a style of frame that makes them feel great.
Head of Marketing at Boots Opticians, Madeline Shaw, explained how the campaign was designed to look.
“The ad features a diverse range of our core customer groups looking fabulous and feeling amazingly confident in their frames. This campaign is very different from anything we’ve seen from Boots Opticians before, and we think will really bring our brand personality to life.”
The campaign builds on parent brand Boots’ ‘feel good’ ethos that’s been present throughout its recent campaigns. Since Boots Opticians was founded in 1983, it’s expanded across the UK and now has hundreds of locations providing expert eye care to the people of Great Britain.
