Belvoir letting agency announces a record breaking year for franchise license renewals in 2017 and with 34 offices around the country, it celebrates a total of 325 collective years with the company.
The agency reports the British Franchise Association’s findings suggest changes in franchisee businesses are in decline and failure rates are lower than other small to medium-sized companies. Belvoir chief executive, Dorian Gonsalves says: “This is certainly borne out by our experience, as during 2017 we saw 11 offices celebrating five years with Belvoir, 17 celebrating a decade, four achieving fifteen years and two offices completing 20 years.” Gonsalves asserts this bares testimony to Belvoir’s successful business model and proudly announces one of the company’s newest franchises, Natalie Boardman who recently acquired Belvoir Tunbridge Wells after a successful career in financial services. “I did look at buying an independent business, but ultimately was drawn to Belvoir because of all the support that is provided. My husband is a chartered surveyor and both of us have always had an interest in property, and have been buy to let landlords for 10 years” she says.
