Bartercard has welcomed new franchisees into its network, who will run a branch of the business in Ilford.
The business franchise, which runs a membership-based scheme allowing entrepreneurs to trade without spending money, is expanding its network with the help of savvy franchisees. Marcelle and Chris are the latest recruits to benefit from the franchise’s attractive investment opportunity.
The pair have set up their Bartercard branch in Ilford, East London. Before they took the leap, they found out all they could about the franchise to make sure it could offer them everything they wanted. They first heard about Bartercard back in March 2017, when they became members with the company. They were impressed with its strategies, and soon decided to invest in the franchise and become business owners themselves.
But this isn’t their first foray into entrepreneurship. Marcelle and Chris have already set up their own business, mum&me, which connects new and ‘soon-to-be’ parents with retailers, helping them find the products or services they need. They’ll run their Bartercard franchise unit alongside their existing venture to maximise their income.
When it comes to developing their Bartercard site, the franchisees will target local suppliers and sports clubs with the intention of fostering partnerships with them and introducing the franchise’s services. Bartercard is thrilled to welcome these ambitious new franchisees into its network and is looking forward to working with them and supporting them in creating a profitable business.
It’s a difficult time for most organisations at the moment, but the franchisees are hoping to continue developing their franchise unit over the coming months. According to Bartercard, Marcelle and Chris’ unit has gone from “strength to strength” so far, and the franchise has high hopes for its growth in the future.
