Auntie Anne’s brings back seasonal drink from last year after it proved a hit with customers.

Auntie Anne’s is famous for its soft pretzels topped with all sorts of delicious ingredients. From the classic ‘Original’ to pretzel nuggets and dips to add extra flavour, there’s a huge range of products to choose from when you visit an Auntie Anne’s store. But this festive season, the business’s US branches have launched an exciting drink - and it’s good news for those with a sweet tooth.

The takeaway franchise will reintroduce its Hot Chocolate Frost from last winter. The cold drink, which offers a fresh take on a traditional hot chocolate, proved to be such a hit with customers, the business decided to bring it back. The beverage offers a true taste of America, made with Hershey’s chocolate and topped with whipped cream and plenty of Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup.

The franchise will be selling the Hot Chocolate Frost across its participating US outlets in 49 states. The limited-edition menu option will be available from the 2nd November to the 31st January next year. Customers can choose the ‘small’ (14 fl. oz.) or the ‘medium’ (20 fl. oz), and prices will vary depending on the location.

Last year, Auntie Anne’s Vice President of Marketing, Marcel Nahm explained why the franchise was introducing its unusual frozen drink:

"We all know the holidays can be hectic. We just want the Hot Chocolate Frost to lift our guests from the stress and add a touch of happiness to their day. And perhaps, help them make a holiday memory with a friend or loved one."

The Hot Chocolate Frost won’t be around forever, so, if you find yourself near a participating Auntie Anne’s store, why not pop in and sample it while you can?
