Amorino celebrates its first Irish opening
Gourment ice cream brand Amorino has opened its first Irish store in Dublin.
Gourmet Italian gelato brand Amorino has brought its signature rose shaped gelato to Ireland. The company’s first store in the country has opened in Dublin, situated in St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre just off Dublin’s famous Grafton Street.
The Italian company, which is based in France, is now able to offer its Irish customer a chance to try its delicious menu. As well as its famous rose gelato cones, Amorino’s menu offers a range of treats for customers to try, including sorbet, milkshakes, waffles, crepes and a mouth-watering take on the French macaron, macarons al gelato.
Co-founder Cristiano Sereni explained how every batch of gelato and sorbet is churned daily in the traditional Italian way, at the careful hands of the company’s chefs.
“We use only the freshest free-range organic eggs and the highest grade whole milk. Absolutely no colouring agent or artificial flavours will be found in our gelato,” Sereni said.
Amorino are now looking to expand further, appointing Stephen Murray of property firm JLL to seek out other potential locations around the UK and Ireland that it can bring its gelato to.
Founded in 2002 by childhood friends Cristiano Sereni and Paolo Benassi, Amorino seeks to bring high-quality gourmet Italian ice cream to everyone, while ensuring all of its stores have a cosy atmosphere perfect for catching up with friends or relaxing. All of the company’s ingredients are both natural and organic and the founders aim to keep a close eye on every stage of production personally, to ensure the quality of Amorino’s gelato and sorbets never slips.
Amorino now has over 110 locations globally and is continuing with its ambitious plans for expansion to new locations and territories over the coming years.
