Acacia Homecare NW Surrey are delighted to announce they have been nominated as finalists in their local region by the Spelthorne Business Forum for the Spelthorne Business Awards as Best Business in Sunbury on Thames and Halliford Village. This is the second time the flagship office for Acacia Homecare has been nominated within two consecutive years, going on to win their category for Best Corporate Social Responsibility Business 2021. The awards ceremony will be taking place on the evening of Thursday 17th November. Their nomination reflects how their care business has integrated itself into the local community, helping with employment and their local involvement with charities and different groups.
Acacia Homecare NW Surrey have also for the first time become finalists for the Great British Care Awards in the categories of The Home Care Registered Managers Award, The Home Care Worker Award, The Care Employer Award and the "The Three R’s (Recruitment, Retention and Reward) Award"!! It has been a whirlwind of interviews for the 4 categories and Acacia Homecare NW Surrey are very excited to be attending the awards ceremony on Friday 18th November. Tracie Metcalfe, who is up for the Home Care Worker Award said “I can’t believe I have been nominated, but I am so proud and I have been working for Acacia for 7 years now and I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else, let along working for another care company.” She along with finalist Kajal Patel, finalist for The Home Care Registered Manager Award and the directors, Sanjeev and Minal Chowdhri are looking forward to the results night taking place in Brighton.
