Ableworld hosted its annual business conference which brings franchisees together to educate, celebrate and inspire them for the year ahead.
Senior care and mobility franchise Ableworld celebrated the achievements of its dedicated staff and franchisees and looked to the future at its annual business conference.
Held at the Wychwood Park Hotel in Cheshire, the theme of this year’s event was ‘Trusted Traders – Service you can trust’ and focused on how each of its stores can continue to offer excellent service and products to preserve Ableworld’s reputation as a trusted mobility and disability aids retailer.
Franchisees and staff from the company-owned stores and head office team were welcomed with a delicious dinner and glittering awards ceremony, which celebrated the achievements of the Ableworld network. As they settled in and enjoyed the company of other franchisees and Ableworld staff, everyone was able to enjoy the enormous Scalextric track that added a fun, competitive edge to the night.
The following day, it was time to talk business, as a number of internal and external speakers were welcomed to the conference. These included key players in the mobility industry, including Grant Abrahams from Drive Devilbliss Homecare, who emphasised just how important bricks and mortar stores like Ableworld’s are to the industry. In-house OT Jayne Tarling also spoke to attendees about the value that occupational therapists can add to each store and the day concluded with a discussion of 2018’s successes and the goals that have been put in place for 2019.
