9Round has announced the introduction of its new Chief Financial Officer, Timothy Walker.
The gym franchise, which offers workout classes inspired by boxing techniques, revealed the name of its newest recruit on Monday 11th January. Tim will join 9Round to oversee the financial strategies put in place as businesses start to emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Shannon Hudson, the franchise’s founder and CEO said,
"Timothy will be responsible for managing the overarching financial strategy and infrastructure for 9Round. His years of experience will help keep 9Round on the path of financial health and stability, especially as we weather the effects of the pandemic.”
Tim has worked as a CFO in various companies for the past 12 years, but he has roughly two decades of experience in operations, accounting and corporate finance. Previously, he’s held positions at established businesses, including Wild Wing Cafe, Eat Here, Delta Air Lines and Arby’s.
The Atlanta-based CFO also has an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University. He’s looking forward to starting the next chapter of his career at 9Round, to help the business grow as the world recovers from the impact of the pandemic.
Talking about his role at the recognisable gym brand’s headquarters, Tim said,
“I’m thrilled to join the 9Round team and build on the solid foundation that Shannon, Heather and the team have established. My focus will be to help support franchise owners with a strong financial structure to ensure future growth.”
9Round is in the process of expanding internationally, and it’s looking for savvy investors to set up branches in their local areas. If you’d like to find out more about how you can get involved and become a gym owner yourself, take a look at its profile page, linked above.
