9Round has expanded its 1,000-site network into Bradford, Canada, welcoming fitness fanatics to try its unique workout.
The new gym, located at 496 Holland St. West, was opened to the public on 28th February. It marked the big occasion with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by representatives from the Bradford Board of Trade and local town council.
9Round is known for its intense workout options. The fitness network doesn’t run classes; it has a series of nine exercise stations designed to deliver great results in record time. Visitors to the gym will have the chance to do skipping, jumping jacks and sit-ups, as well as boxing, sparring and kicking. The new franchise owner, Marina “The Machina” Imperio explained:
“We have a circuit that runs every three minutes, all day long.”
Up to 18 people can workout on the gym floor and there are always trainers around to help out newcomers and support others. Imperio continued:
“There are always trainers on the floor to help push you towards your fitness goals \[and\] keep that heart rate elevated, keep those calories burning.”
The Mayor, Rob Keffer, was delighted Imperio has invested in the town of Bradford by launching her 9Round gym franchise. He praised the unique concept, noting:
“It’s fun, but it gets results.”
Imperio responded:
“We’re really happy to be here. We’re happy to be part of the community.”
Bradford councillor, Raj Sandhu explained how the business is a fantastic choice for the area:
“It’s nice to have an international company in our town. We all know our town is a commuter town. \[People\] spend a lot of time on the road… Here, you can be out in 30-35 minutes.”
Thanking the representatives for attending the big day, Imperio gave them the chance to put their kickboxing skills to the test with a free, private 9Round session.
