Veeno supports the NHS

Veeno has announced a scheme to support healthcare heroes at the NHS.
You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone not in awe of the work the NHS is doing at the moment. At a time of global crisis, our National Health Service staff are working exhausting shifts in dangerous environments to help those infected with COVID-19. Many don’t even have the basic personal protective equipment (PPE) they need to keep them safe from the virus.
Understandably, people across the UK are teaming together to show their support for the wonderful NHS. And while our courageous healthcare workers go above and beyond to help us, there’s plenty we can do to give back.
This is the approach taken by wine franchise Veeno, which sells authentic bottles from Italian vineyards. In a social media post highlighting the fantastic work the NHS is doing every day, Veeno announced its staff have now signed up to volunteer in any way they can.
What’s more, the franchise has pledged to donate 10 percent of the profits from every single online wine order to the NHS directly. So, now every Veeno customer will automatically be supporting the wonderful NHS. The post explained:
“The NHS has been at the forefront of this battle and we wanted to show our support and appreciation.”
It continued:
“Any contribution matters so thank you for continuing to buy our wines online, as we all want to help.”
If you want to do more to support those working on the frontline in hospitals up and down the country, you can donate money to the NHS on the NHS Charities Together website. As Veeno writes, any contribution matters, so give as much as you can afford, no matter how small the sum.
