One of TaxAssist Accountants’ investors has described how he’s found developing a business during the coronavirus pandemic.
Anthony Royle bought the rights to set up his very own branch of the bookkeeping and accounting franchise last year. Back at the start of his franchising journey, he secured a fantastic location in Ashford, Kent, and began to welcome clients from across the region. Now, his business services the surrounding areas of Bethersden, Cranbrook, Hawkhurst, High Halden, Smarden and Tenterden.
With a growing customer base of over 150 clients, Anthony has set up a thriving business in what anyone would agree has been a devastating year for many companies. But the hard-working franchisee has been able to continue generating business by helping customers with furlough claims, grant applications and other business advice.
Anthony explained how he’s been able to generate a healthy income while setting up his franchise unit:
“It’s been an unprecedented business environment over the last few months, but I’m pleased to say that I’ve managed to assist my clients with the various government support schemes. I’ve now opened the new shop, which looks fantastic and is in a great location with convenient parking close by.”
He also gave an insight into his business experience and why he believes he’ll make a fantastic TaxAssist Accountants franchisee:
“Having lived in the Ashford area for over 10 years, I feel I have a good understanding of the local business environment and am passionate about supporting my fellow small businesses through the coronavirus pandemic and beyond.”
He added:
“I would encourage anyone interested in finding out more about our services to contact us to book a free initial consultation – which can be either face-to face, by telephone or online. We provide a comprehensive tax, accountancy and advisory service to small businesses and can talk clients through a range of software solutions, to help them select the right package for their needs.”
