Promedica24 has a day at the seaside

Promedia24 treated its clients in Christchurch to a fun day at the beach to help tackle loneliness.
Senior care franchise Promedica24 organised a fun trip to the seaside that allowed its clients to interact with each other. Four of its clients, all of whom live in the Christchurch area of Dorset, went along on the day out that was set up to give them time with their peers. Most importantly, it gave them the opportunity to get out of the house and enjoy some invigorating sea air.
Although Promedica24’s services are designed to offer companionship to its elderly clients as well as personal care, nothing beats the company of likeminded individuals. So, thoughtful manager Kerry Stevens set about organising a trip to the beach for four of her clients, which would give them chance to enjoy the beach and the company of similarly aged people once more.
She explained that her clients all had great memories of the beach, whether that was visiting when they were little or taking their own children along for a fun day of sea and sand. Speaking about the trip, Stevens said:
“Our day on the beach was a great opportunity for clients to meet each other, make new friendships and have a nice time together. It also meant that those who are unable to get out and about often had the opportunity to enjoy a pleasant day at a place that brings back so many lovely memories.”
The beachfront stroll was finished off with a hearty portion of fish and chips, which Promedica24’s clients and carers enjoyed overlooking the calm sea. It was a fantastic day for all and something that the healthcare franchise hopes to organise again.
Promedica24’s specialist, round-the-clock care services ensure that vulnerable or elderly people have a live-in carer around at all times, giving family and friends absolute peace of mind.
