Kip McGrath Trowbridge joined in with ‘Bring Your Dog to Work Day’
Specialist maths and English tutoring company Kip McGrath has been participating in ‘Bring Your Dog to Work Day’.
The unofficial celebration is held every year on the 22nd of June and encourages businesses to allow employees to bring their furry friends into work with them. Kip McGrath Trowbridge was one of many places that took full advantage of the day.
As the tutoring company welcomed in friendly pup Macey, students were able to play and interact with her as a reward for their hard work.
Kip McGrath was established to help children who struggle with their English skills, including reading, writing and tricky comprehension and their maths skills too. Its specialist tutoring programmes are aimed at children of all ages, from those who have just started school, all the way up to sixth form pupils.
The furry visitor was a treat for students and, it seemed, the special 4-legged lady in question enjoyed the experience too.
Jill Hughes, of the Kip McGrath Centre, explained that Macey seemed to thoroughly enjoy her day at work, even if she didn’t prove to be the most efficient worker.
"[Macey] lapped up attention from all of our students and helped put them at ease."
Established in Australia in 1976 by teachers Kip and Dug McGrath, the tuition service aims to provide an individual experience for every learner. Assessments are used to find out learners’ strengths, weaknesses and the way that they learn best, so that a combination of written and online teaching programmes can be used. Kip McGrath now has more than 500 centres globally, with over 240 across the UK and Republic of Ireland alone. It has thousands of satisfied learners who can attest that the tutoring franchise is one of the best in its sector.
