InXpress has been named by the London Stock Exchange Group as a company that’s crucial to the UK’s economic growth.
In a time of rapid growth among companies in the North West of England, InXpress has been named as one of the top 1,000 companies in Britain by the London Stock Exchange.
The report, which was the London Stock Exchange Group’s fifth annual list, named the top ‘1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ and the shipping and freight franchise was delighted to find itself included.
The report also noted that companies in the North West of England are growing around three times faster than the national average. It found that SMEs (small and medium enterprises) in this region had annual revenue growth of around 232% annually, as opposed to 71% for the rest of the UK.
The list uses the financial expertise of those at the London Stock Exchange Group to identify companies that will prove crucial to the UK’s economic growth and job market, so it’s a huge honour for InXpress to have made the prestigious list.
Nikhil Rathi, CEO, London Stock Exchange Plc offered congratulations to all of the companies that featured.
"We warmly congratulate all of the companies identified in this year’s ‘1000 companies to Inspire Britain’ report. These dynamic companies are the backbone of our economy, playing an important role in the UK’s ability to innovate, export and grow. With North West companies growing at more than three times the national average, it is testament to the entrepreneurial spirit and economic and job creating potential of companies from the region.”
