Snappy Pizza is taking steps to protect staff and customers during the COVID-19 crisis.

In order to limit the spread of COVID-19, all restaurants in the UK are to be closed for sit-down meals but can still offer takeaway services. With the British public being instructed to stay at home unless they’re going to work or getting food, medicine or some exercise, ordering our favourite foods straight to our doors can be the highlight of the day.

Snappy Pizza is going the extra mile to protect its staff and customers from the potential transmission of coronavirus. It encourages customers to use its online ordering and payment systems and reassures us that when the driver arrives, they will alert us of their arrival, take a step back and wait for us to say where we want the order left.

If you want to make a special request, you can use the information box at the checkout and type a message like “please leave the order on a box I have placed by the gate”.

On top of these measures, Snappy Pizza is taking all the appropriate steps to stop transmission, including extra deep cleaning of the stores, making sure employees wash their hands regularly with soap and hot water, and asking its delivery drivers to wash their hands on every return to the store and between deliveries.

You can order online at snappytomatopizza.co.uk or on the Snappy Pizza app.

With restaurants temporarily closing, food delivery businesses will be more popular than ever. If you’re considering starting a new business venture soon, you can read more about the Snappy Pizza franchise opportunity by clicking here.
