Entrepreneurs Circle’s founder Nigel Botterill has revealed how his franchise has fared during the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to Nigel, although many businesses struggled in 2020, the events of the year caused a surge in demand for the services offered by Entrepreneurs Circle. He explained,
“Our franchise is all about equipping people to become business coaches helping small businesses in their area to grow. It's a great opportunity when times are good but we find small businesses are more actively looking for help (and our coaches) when times are tough.”
So, how did Entrepreneurs Circle cater to this increased level of demand? Nigel said,
“We provided a lot of advice to our Licenced Coaches last year, and made all our resources available free of charge to any UK business owner that needed it. We're proud of the part we played in helping so many businesses to not just weather the storm but, in many cases, to flourish despite the challenges Covid brought.”
The franchise also added extra training resources for franchisees and coaches to help them effectively support their clients and made it easier for new investors to join the business.
“Our team has been cranking out relevant and timely content for them non-stop.
“We've started to offer payment plans and more flexible financing as well because we want to make sure the smart, switched-on people who would make great coaches can join us - even if they don't have a big lump of cash to spend right now.”
Throughout the year, Nigel was reminded of the words of wisdom given to him as a child. He revealed,
“‘Worry never solved anything’ and ‘This too shall pass’ were the two most helpful pieces of advice that helped me through 2020 and they were both taught to me as a young boy by my late dad.”
After an eventful year, the business coaching franchise has big goals for the future. It is working towards expanding its UK network to more than 200 units and continuing to provide a first-rate service to small businesses.
