ChipsAway appeals to drivers with ‘little dings’ to increase franchisee leads

After winning The Great British Franchisee Award for incredible performance in the automotive sector, ChipsAway has launched an exciting campaign. Since 70% of the enquiries into its services come from men, it’s decided to use these stats to its advantage. Printed adverts can now be found in select male washrooms within motorway stations. They’re not bland but have a tasteful sense of humour.
With text like “Little ding?” and “Send us your ding pics”, it’s very likely to capture men’s attention with a good chuckle. Thanks to these comedic ads, there was a 3% increase in customers in February when compared to last year at the same time. Furthermore, the audience exceeded 6 million for the first half of the first quarter. Of these, 82% were men that used the washrooms with the printed posters.
Rebecca de Chair, Group Marketing Manager for ChipsAway, shared her thoughts with a smile:
“No one likes having damage on their car, so we wanted to help alleviate some of the stress and potential embarrassment of that experience. Our ChipsAway specialists can repair minor damage to a professional standard, affordably and in just a few hours, so the adverts are designed to spread the word about our service, as well as make people smile when they notice their tongue-in-cheek nature.”
ChipsAway isn’t stopping there. Thanks to the success of these ads, it will be converting them for use in social media with similar humour. With the start of its 2023 TV campaign coming up, it’s the perfect time to spread the marketing and laughs and increase leads for franchisees.
As you can see, now may be the best time to sign up for a ChipsAway franchise business with so many possible opportunities on the way!
