Another ex-Kumon student becomes a franchisee

A franchisee in Georgia hopes to share her love of the Kumon method with students in the US.
Sneha Issani was introduced to the Kumon learning programme as a young student when her parents enrolled her to help further her academic ability and confidence. She continued with the tutoring franchise’s programme throughout her education and graduated secondary school with a real passion for learning. Then, when she later completed her studies at Georgia State University, she started a job teaching English to Chinese students online.
Coming from a family of business owners, when she was considering the next stage in her career, she wanted to find something where she could operate her own business. Not wanting to leave the education sector, she was delighted to find the opportunity to start her own Kumon Centre.
As the proud owner and instructor of Kumon of Lilburn – Five Forks Trickum, she is dedicated to having a positive impact on the lives of her students and inspiring them as much as her own Kumon instructor did.
Sneha said:
"My love for Kumon runs back to when I was a young child.
"When I think about the impact it has had on my life and how much it has helped me prosper, I realise how important it is for me to provide to others in my own community."
Sneha was supported throughout the entirety of her franchise journey; from the initial enquiry to setting up her centre.
She continued:
"Beyond [maths] and reading, Kumon truly helps students grow as confident individuals.
"I can personally attest to the fact that the Kumon programme is like magic if you give it your all, and I can't wait to prove that to my community."
