Why did Tatty Bumpkin change its name to Children Inspired by Yoga?
After it was founded in 2004 by designer, mom, and Yoga teacher Sam Petter, Tatty Bumpkin delivered a creative and ethical developmental programme for babies and children. After beginning its franchising journey in 2007, the business went from strength to strength throughout its formative years, and was nominated as Franchisor of the Year in 2016 during the Mumandworking Awards hosted by Natwest.
Having expanded its offering to a wider range of children’s exercise, the Tatty Bumpkin arm of the Children Inspired by Yoga brand serves 2-7 year olds, while Baby Bumpkin, Tatty Guroo and Yoga Guroo work with other age ranges, from 0 to 16.
Joining Children Inspired by Yoga will see you become a part of an award-winning, multi-disciplinary developmental programme that has been meticulously designed and developed by educationalists, paediatric physiotherapists, yoga teachers, artists and musicians. It is also aligned to the national curriculum, and is industry recognised, having been endorsed NCFE (previously known as CACHE - Council for Child, Health, Care and Education) and The Yoga Alliance.
