Pirtek appoints female CEO

Pirtek has appointed a brand-new CEO who hopes to continue strengthening the brand.

Pirtek has named its new CEO and has said that it will continue to focus on strengthening each individual franchise, as well as Pirtek’s USA brand as a whole.

Kim Gubera has been promoted from her position as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Pirtek USA to lead the hydraulics and air conditioning franchise into the future. She will take over from former CEO Glenn Duncan, who led the company for more than 30 years and will now move into the position of executive chairman.

Gubera is highly experience in the world of finance, having held the position of Director of Finance at a well-known national landscaping franchise before coming to Pirtek. She is also a certified franchise executive with the International Franchise Association, making her a fantastic choice to work on strengthening each franchisee’s business across the country.

“Our vision as a company remains the same: partnering with our franchise owners to build successful businesses while expanding the Pirtek brand in the United States,” said Gubera. “What I find exciting and challenging is working with the individual owners, their employees, and our corporate team, all of whom work every day to grow and support the brand while servicing our customers. Building relationships with, coordinating, and motivating these groups of talented people to work cohesively and in sync is a role that I welcome with enthusiasm.”

Gubera’s inspirational career has seen her climb the career ladder from accountant all the way to the head of finance. Now, she takes the final, most prestigious step by becoming CEO of Pirtek USA and it’s hoped she will bring some of her characteristic determination to help her overcome any challenges the role will present.
