Radfield Home Care introduces coronavirus testing scheme

A Radfield Home Care franchise unit has taken advantage of the availability of Covid-19 testing kits to help keep its staff safe.

The branch covering Stamford, Peterborough and Rutland has announced the introduction of the testing scheme now resources are readily available.

The home care franchise business, which is based in Great Casterton, will ask its staff members to check for a coronavirus diagnosis every week. Care professionals will take a test kit home with them, submit their sample and receive a result in three to five days.

Radfield Home Care is one of the first domiciliary care agencies in the region to take up mass testing across its workforce. Thanks to the NHS Test and Trace system, businesses registered with the Care Quality Commission can access weekly PCR tests for their staff members.
