Radfield Home Care hires first new franchisee of 2020

Radfield Home Care has welcomed a new franchisee for the first time in 2020.
Jane Franks will set up her home care franchise business in Milton Keynes as its owner and director. Having previously worked in a children’s bereavement charity and as an HR director for a local food franchise, Franks has plenty of experience to draw on.
Like many franchisees in the healthcare industry, Franks decided to start her business when a family member needed medical treatment. After her mother had a fall and went to hospital, Franks recognised the need for a good, local home care facility. She said:
“Witnessing first-hand mum’s decline in hospital and the subsequent speed of recovery once she was being cared for in the familiar surroundings of home, gave me the inspiration to set up my own home care business.”
Radfield Home Care appealed to Franks, who explained:
“As a family-run business, Radfield had captured in a business the exact quality and ethics I was looking for. The model is truly person centred, helping clients, their families, carers and franchise partners. I could see that senior care was something I could really care about as a business, my business.”
Franks is thrilled to be able to cater for people like her mother who would benefit from dedicated home care in the local area. Now she’s completed the Radfield Runway 20-day training scheme, she can start collaborating with the franchise’s marketing team to build her customer base.
Franks added:
“I am excited by the potential of the Radfield brand and proud to be able to support the communities that make up Milton Keynes. I am not only passionate about providing high-quality, client-centred care, but I am also dedicated to providing a great place for our carer professionals to work.”
The Radfield Home Care Milton Keynes branch is set to open in the next few weeks.
