Nicholas Humphreys in Portsmouth Announces Huge Success

Just three months after opening its doors, the Nicholas Humphreys Portsmouth franchise has already enjoyed great success, winning an award and smashing targets.

Nicholas Humphreys Portsmouth opened its doors towards the end of last year, and it has already seen promising performance results. In just the first month, it made £4,333.63, which set the pace for the following two months.

After three months of opening, it hit a £13,460 income mark, smashing the £10,000 target. That came after it had already won the bronze award for reaching over £5,000 in one month – just its second month in business.

The Portsmouth franchise signed the sole agency agreement in December after the owner, Ben Lacey, decided that running a franchise was the best route for him as an entrepreneur. He chose Nicholas Humphreys because he was impressed by the level of support it provided its franchisees. He was also assured by the knowledge the franchise team had, giving him confidence that he could run his own business with the support of an expert team.

Lacey brings his knowledge and experience acquired during an undergraduate degree in business management and a masters degree in human resources. Both degrees have given him a tremendous insight into running a business and managing people, along with the legalities around employment, putting him in an excellent position to run a thriving lettings agency.

His vision for the franchise is to become the leading lettings agency that links student properties to tenants. He wants it to be the go-to for both students and landlords of student properties, offering an end-to-end service that fully supports both parties.

He has since mentioned that he would like to expand into other territories with his franchise, but not until he has got the Portsmouth office up and running. Lacey would also like to acquire his own properties and own a portfolio of properties to rent out.

Nicholas Humphreys specialises in student lettings and has offices in 28 university towns and cities around the UK. It is one of only five properties franchises that has achieved full membership of the BFA.
