Jan-Pro combats disease
Sophie Cole, writer
Jan-Pro is doing its bit to stop the global spread of the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic with its innovative office cleaning methods.
As the world does its best to combat the spread of coronavirus, Jan-Pro has been explaining how its commercial cleaning methods can keep workplaces across the world free from disease.
Its EnviroShield system uses medical-grade disinfectants to kill more than 99.99 percent of bacteria and viruses found in workplaces, including coronavirus. It explained how viruses are killed using its methods.
**“Coronaviruses are enveloped viruses. There are many enveloped viruses, including HBV, HCV, HIV and influenza. They are pathogenic to humans, meaning that they make you sick. The lipid envelope of these viruses is relatively sensitive and thus can be destroyed by alcohols similar to those used in the EnviroShield® system, such as ethanol or 2-propanol.”**
The cleaning franchise has spent more than 25 years perfecting its methods to make sure that all Jan-Pro cleaned workplaces are as hygienic as possible. However, the franchise also explained that its products are only harsh on the germs and bacteria, rather than its customers’ skin.
**“Even though it’s tough on germs, the disinfectant used in the EnviroShield system is gentle on people and the environment. This disinfectant carries the EPA’s highest grade for safety and non-toxicity. It generates no harmful residues, no toxic byproducts, and no harsh or irritating fumes.”**
