The coding franchise teaching important life skills to kids spoke with Ahmed, Tricia, Shane, Bushra and Ndubuisi about their most enjoyable moments as franchisees.
Jam Coding recently asked five of its newest franchisees, in a video interview, the following question: What have you enjoyed most about your Jam Coding experience thus far? The question yielded a wide range of answers. Ahmed, for example, said the courses had been the most enjoyable. In his words, “We’ve had a run through of the courses that are delivered to the kids and I’ve really enjoyed those, so I’m hoping the kids enjoy them even more.”
Ahmed also cited “meeting other franchisees and everyone who is in the same position” as a highlight, and Tricia agreed. She said, “The best thing, to be honest, is having met other franchisees. Listening to other people’s stories.” Doing so reminded Tricia that in this franchising journey, “you’re not just by yourself and other people have taken this jump as well”.
Describing his most enjoyable moment since investing with the computer franchise, Shane said, “Highlighting all the aspects of the business, including the fun stuff. For myself, my background is more in business management and those types of aspects. So even covering some of the practical teaching skills and some of the interactive classes and workshops - physically getting involved in that really puts your mind at ease, and gives you more confidence in delivering.”
Similarly, Bushra stated that she had enjoyed discovering how the lessons would work, and how they would be structured. With a background in teaching, she likes to focus on the details, and of working with Jam Coding, she said, “We’ve been given so much information and so much practice on how to teach the different lessons. That’s what I was most nervous about, because I haven’t taught computing before, so being able to practice that [has been very helpful].”
Finally, for Ndubuisi the highlight has been learning coding, robotics and stop animation. In Ndubuisi’s words, “I’ve never coded [before]. It was enjoyable, though I wouldn’t say it was easy. I had to think a lot and slow down, and I loved it. Really loved it.” Find out more about franchising with Jam Coding and discovering your own most exciting moments via the company’s profile page, linked above.
