Heavenly Desserts has taken up a prized position in Time Square, Warrington.
The food and beverage franchise has bagged a spot in Warrington’s exciting new retail development. The complex was only completed earlier this year, but its first business occupants have experienced a somewhat slow start as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. To reflect the changing situation, the Time Square leisure facility is considering a reduction in rent, despite the £140 million cost of the construction scheme.
The Botanist restaurant and Cineworld have already been located at the complex since late 2019. But the cinema has delayed its opening until 2021 because of the complications facing the film industry at the moment. Earlier this year, Warrington Market joined the Time Square complex in July, and Gravity trampoline park was launched there in October.
Now, luxury food franchise Heavenly Desserts is ready to open its doors to the public and is looking forward to welcoming those with a sweet tooth.
In the lead-up to the Christmas holiday, more businesses are set to take up residence in the Time Square facility. The council said,
“We continue to receive more interest from additional occupiers in the other units and we are in early negotiations with one further occupier. Covid and the implications of lockdown continue to put pressure on operators and a consequent reduction in rents to Warrington Borough Council."
While the coronavirus pandemic has caused damage to the retail and food industries, Heavenly Desserts and its neighbours are looking forward to a profitable future in the Time Square complex. The franchise has been creating delectable desserts since 2008 and has developed a network of more than 20 outlets across the UK.
