Drain Doctor has celebrated winning a brand-new council contract which will see it maintain and resolve drainage issues across Newham, London.
One of Drain Doctor’s London locations has celebrated its newest contract win, which will allow it to attend to the drainage issues of more than 16,000 council-managed properties.
The two-year contract, which was given to Drain Doctor London Central, will see it support the council’s existing maintenance teams with everything from drainage investigations and surveys to repairs, maintenance and wastewater drainage. As part of its work, Drain Doctor engineers will send state-of-the-art cameras into the drains to identify exactly what’s causing the issues affecting each property, before carrying out the required repairs or introducing clearing services to get things back to normal.
Drain Doctor will also conduct drain mapping, which offers exact information about what’s going on down in the sewers of Newham, including water flow direction and measurements of the wastewater network.
Director of Drain Doctor London Central, Ian Robinson, expressed his excitement at the win.
“We are delighted to win this new contract with Newham Council to diagnose and resolve any drainage issues amongst their residential properties. Not only are our engineers trained to the highest standards, but they have the commitment and knowledge of the latest drain technology to cure any drainage problems that the properties could face or are facing.”
He continued:
“We fully recognise that Newham Council’s housing is key to the standing of the Borough and we will do everything to ensure that whatever the concern, we can provide a quick, non-invasive and cost-effective way to detect drainage problems. We are really excited to start the work and look forward to working with the council across their housing stock.”
With more than 55 locations across the UK, the plumbing franchise is one of the largest providers of expert drainage care in the country.
