ComputerXplorers welcomes expert franchisee

ComputerXplorers has welcomed its newest franchisee, who has more than 20 years’ experience working in IT.

ComputerXplorers has hit the jackpot with its newest franchisee, as they’ve welcomed on board systems analyst Griffin Cheng who will bring the technology education franchise to Oldham.

Cheng is a computer expert, having gained a computer science degree and a Master’s in information management in his native city of Hong Kong. He built a successful career developing complex IT systems for more than 20 years, but after becoming a father he sought something more meaningful. And when he discovered that the UK’s focus on teaching children computer skills is considered world-class, he made the decision to relocate here with his family.

Cheng did his research and decided to operate under the ComputerXplorers name as a franchisee, as the well-established and credible computer franchise would help him quickly get his business off the ground. Cheng also explained that he chose ComputerXplorers because of the wide scope of the lessons, as well as the strong focus on making each lesson fun. He said:

“Any parent can tell you that children learn best when they’re interested in something and enjoying themselves. Once they master a skill, they want to try it out and improve it, pushing themselves to make progress and then try new things. Technology is such an important aspect of our world today, and children that grow up with the confidence to use it creatively will have a major advantage throughout their lives.”
