Christmas Decorators brought sparkle and joy to a Thames Hospice in Windsor with a very festive set-up.
The decorating franchise has helped the local organisation celebrate the Christmas season with a selection of eye-catching illuminated displays. The installation was part of Thames Hospice’s Light Up A Life initiative, which takes place annually. The scheme is a chance for people to reflect on those who are no longer with us, as well as raise funds for the organisation’s incredible work.
This Christmas, Light Up A Life will be even more important, as Thames Hospice has more patients under its roof than ever before. The organisation is inviting people to join in the fun virtually this year, with its live-streamed event on Sunday 13th December.
As part of the festive Light Up A Life display, Christmas Decorators installed a range of different fixtures, including a Christmas tree, sparkling white snowflakes and feature lighting.
Jane Symmons, Head of Major Gifts at Thames Hospice explained why she values Christmas Decorators’ service:
“Christmas is an important time for families to remember loved ones and it is important to us at Thames Hospice to ensure we can look after our families at this special time. The Christmas Decorators Berkshire supported us last year and very kindly responded to our ask again for this year to decorate our brand-new hospice.
"Based next to Bray Lake, we have some beautiful areas to decorate and they have done a wonderful job providing lights and a huge Christmas tree… We would like to thank them for providing such an important service for our patients and families.”
David Hill, Managing Director of the franchise’s Berkshire branch, said:
“We are extremely proud to have been asked to be part of this appeal and hope that we can help to spread a little joy this year for the residents and families.”
