Cafe2U demonstrates the franchise’s Olympic spirit
In a recent blog post, the van-based coffee company discussed all the commonalities between hard-working Olympians and hard-working Cafe2U franchisees and employees.
Inspired by the Tokyo 2020 (held in 2021 as a result of the global pandemic) Olympics, Cafe2U has been considering the similar principles that lead to two very different things: Winning a gold medal and building a successful, profitable franchise.
Firstly, both things require teamwork and support. In the words of Cafe2U, “Just like athletes, our franchisees can’t succeed without support, so, in addition to providing them with a support network [...], we also provide them with a comprehensive four-week training course to ensure they have the skills necessary to hit the road as a qualified mobile coffee business owner.”
Secondly, the coffee van franchise points out that confidence is a very necessary requirement, and, “Just like athletes need to believe in their own abilities, entrepreneurs must be bullish about their chances of becoming the best.” Thirdly, and very similarly, successful franchisees need passion for what they do. For the same reasons that athletes are willing to go to extreme lengths to prepare and test their bodies – passion for the work – successful entrepreneurs are motivated to overcome all the obstacles that they encounter.
Finally, successful franchisees must recognise the constant need to evolve and improve their business, always working hard to expand their skill sets. According to Cafe2U, “[We have] been on the road for more than 17 years and, although we know the coffee industry like the back of our hand, we’re constantly creating new avenues for growth and keeping up to date with new trends so we can ensure our franchisees have the latest equipment and are familiar with any new changes in the industry.” Find out more about franchising with this mobile coffee company via Cafe2U’s profile page, linked above.
