Bright & Beautiful’s Bromley franchisee has spoken about why she loves running her cleaning franchise business.

Jas Dhillon-Manchanda launched her unit in 2017, after working in adult education for 17 years. Although she had previously built successful retail and property businesses, she had no experience in the cleaning sector. Happily, she was able to take advantage of Bright & Beautiful’s support programme.

When Jas discovered the cleaning franchise’s investment opening, she was looking for a flexible business opportunity with a Monday to Friday work pattern. Although there are many franchises out there, Jas was drawn to Bright & Beautiful because of its appealing brand image and ethos, professional development options and head office support.

Now, Jas has built up a profitable business with a team of 13 staff members. She said,

“I like the flexibility, the employment opportunities I can offer local people and the fact I am building a business to be proud of… I also enjoy the fact that I am also building a legacy business which can be passed on to members of my family.”

Jas explained how Bright & Beautiful has supported her professional growth:

“I have gained confidence in managing staff and gaining new clients as well as expanding my knowledge in employment law and legislation. And of course, I’ve learnt lots about running a business in this sector.”

She also revealed the best aspects of joining a franchise.

“You are never alone. It’s excellent! It’s also very useful to meet other franchisees and to have head office meetings that encourage me to develop the business.”

As a thriving business owner, Jas can now offer advice to other prospective franchise investors. She said,

“Choose something that suits you and remember that success does not happen overnight, but it will happen if you follow the model and don’t give up!”

So, what’s next for the franchisee? Jas has big plans to be the leading domestic cleaning company in her area, and she’ll be able to draw on her franchisor’s ongoing support to achieve her goal.
