Franchising details
A business venture that makes the most of the blossoming market in children’s books is always going to be a winner. But what makes My World and I really stand out, is that it personalises its products in a way that’s proving popular and magical.
What little girl or boy doesn’t love to live in a world of fantasy and fairytale? With My World and I, children “become the heroes of their own story” and hear tales of their own adventures for bedtime reading.
My World and I leads the market worldwide in personalised children’s storybooks. It is also constantly expanding the range of charming personalised products it offers.
It now extends to around 100 items, including poems, games, colouring books, music CDs and teddy bears.
The company is constantly on the lookout for self-employed people to join its global franchise network. These are referred to as distributors, and can operate their own book printing and marketing service under the My World and I branding from any location.
So far, it has proved a winning formula for stay at home parents who can operate their distribution business to fit around family commitments. However, it is equally relevant as a full-time business.

Training and support
The company prides itself on a business operating model that can enable new distributors to be up and running in a matter of days.
This comes in the form of Licence pack, containing everything needed to get started including software, initial stock and training guides. You simply pick out what you want from the product options available. The distributor software is regularly updated, and you place orders for pre-printed full colour books as required.
The system guides you through how to personalise the text and print it onto the pages supplied in each pack. Each book takes around five minutes to produce.
My World and I support you in this, and will also help you to market your venture to local parents, schools, playgroups and other relevant target audiences.
This is achieved by unlimited access to training modules and videos, a manual, and a range of marketing materials including glossy catalogues.
Naturally, a pre-built website is provided if you base your business online.
