German Doner Kebab (GDK) is a fast food retailer offering a healthier and more nutritionally balanced approach to traditional kebabs. After opening their first store in Berlin in 1989, the company spent the next 10 years developing and perfecting their recipes, products and cooking processes.

They pride themselves on quality fast food, using handmade toasted breads and fresh meat and vegetables, complemented by their own special sauces, using methods that differentiate them from their competitors.

GDK offer a gourmet food experience based on fresh, nutritious ingredients with an emphasis on authenticity, originality and modern branding. In addition to their kebabs, they offer a range of accompanying nibbles, sides and extra toppings. GDK are proud of their exacting standards and continue to retain their market position at the top of the kebab industry.

GDK have over 60 stores in the UK, Sweden, and Pakistan and across the Middle East, and were named best UAE franchise brand by the Middle East & North Africa Franchise Association in 2014. The company is also due to open stores soon in the USA and Canada, and are now expanding rapidly throughout the UK, with multiple development opportunities in prime areas and a mission to be recognised as one of the top fast casual food brands in the world.

There are plans for several hundred more stores to open in the next 5 years.
