Franchise costs and details
Training and support
Successful franchisees can look forward to the training and support that we will provide. The Total Lodging by Choice (TLC) Orientation Program is mandatory for all owners and General Managers of new hotels. The program is held 10 times a year at the Choice Hotels Headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland. It consists of 39 hours of classroom training. As part of our requirement for new franchisees, we will be providing certified General Manager at their hotel. The GM will then undergo a mandatory Hospitality Operations Success Training (HOST). ChoiceADVANTAGE is mandatory for all general managers, assistant general managers, and front office managers. This involves 10 – 16 hours of classroom training and 15-26 hours of on-the-job training.
