Neighbourly wants its ethical approach to business to be officially certified.

Over the next few months, Neighbourly will be chasing ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) accreditations for its UK brands that reflect its commitment to the environment, customer care and health and safety.

The home services franchise recently hired a new compliance manager to help implement uniform standards across all areas of its business. The new appointee, Graham Garrett-Lang, will be directing and monitoring all systems to make sure that they are all up to scratch.

Graham is excited about the potential of the project in front of him. He said: I’m really looking forward to implementing an effective and successful compliance function at Neighbourly and to bringing the core processes under one umbrella.

He also added: “I will also be responsible for driving positive behaviours and consistency across our six brands in the UK. It’s great to have joined such an exciting organisation, which is continually growing and looking for new opportunities in franchising.”

With Graham’s experience in this field, Neighbourly can look forward to years of expert guidance under his lead. Before joining the franchise, he worked in health and safety at VPS Ground Service. He certainly has an eye for quality and will be able to help Neighbourly to achieve rigid ethics goals.

Jeff Meyers, Vice President of International Operations at Neigbourly, explained the rationale behind chasing ISO accreditation: “Besides reputability and success, it is critical that our business in the UK continues to maintain high standards and complies with the industry rules and regulations. Having acquired three of our UK brands in recent months and years, we need to ensure that we have a completely streamlined system, positive customer relationships and a healthy work culture”.
